In celebration of the Mid-Autumn festival, Dorsett Grand Subang introduces the tradition of mooncake crafting, with its highly anticipated selection of mooncakes. This year, the hotel offers a selection of HALAL certified mooncakes that will offer its Muslim guests a peace of mind when consumed.

Mooncakes are a traditional staple during Mid-Autumn festival which occurs between the month of August and September every year. During the Yuan Dynasty, mooncakes were used by the Chinese to plan a rebellion against Mongol government.

A total of 11 types of mooncakes will be available for purchase, the traditional baked mooncakes and the snowskin variant of the mooncakes.

A must try ncluding the signature Honey Dragon Fruit mooncake. The unique flavour of Honey Dragon Fruit comes in both baked and crystal skin variations, handcrafted by master chefs.

The exotic dragonfruit is high in both antioxidants and Vitamin C hence, making it less of a guilty pleasure for guests who are health conscious.

For guests who are keeping track of their sugar levels, Dorsett Grand Subang offers low-sugar variations for its baked mooncakes.

“Jewels of Mid-Autumn’ is available from 4th August to 27th September and prices start from RM24.00 nett. Guests who purchase four pieces of mooncakes and above receive exclusively designed mooncake gift box.

For bulk purchase, 15% discount is given for 10-29 boxes purchased; and 30% discount for 30 boxes and above purchased. Dorsett Prestige Club members will receive 20% discount on all mooncakes purchases. The rates and 10% service charge are inclusive of 6% GST rate.
