Fronterra Foodservices Malaysia has recently launched the second phase of its successful Anchor Say Cheese Campaign which consists of an exclusive assortment of Anchor-branded desserts, the first of its kind in the market. Video: Speaking at the launch of Anchor Say Cheese in Yeast Pastry House, Melaka is Mr. Chua, a representative from Fronterra Foodservices and Mr.Poh, owner and Head Chef of Yeast Pastry House. According to Mr. Chua, each bakery partners will whip up the delectable Anchor branded desserts using the original recipes. Trainings are provided by Fonterra’s patisserie chefs, with a slight tweak to suit the unique preferences of respective bakeries’ customers.

Some of the European themed pastries that’s Anchor Say Cheese Chef’s Signature series that can be found in selected bakeries nationwide: Almond Rosa, Cheeznie, First Love and Lady Marmalade.

Customers will also receive the limited edition Anchor spoon with every purchase of two boxes of Anchor’s signature desserts. The bread selection is available from RM3.50 onwards while the cake selection is available at RM6.50 onwards per piece. Price varies according to bakeries.

School Holiday Fun with Ice Age

Leading up to the opening of world’s first Twentieth Century Fox World Theme Park at Resorts World Genting in 2017, there are many exciting activities in store for visitors. One of it is the Spacetastic Adventure with Ice Age: Collision Course at Resorts World Genting this June, during the school holiday season.

As you probably might know right now, Ice Age Will be releasing it’s latest movie installment and Resorts World Genting is celebrating the upcoming release of Spacetastic Adventure with Ice Age: Collision Course and it will be ongoing from 4 June to 24 July 2016 with fun interactive activities for the whole family up there.

What is Ice Age Collision Course about? This time, Scrat’s pursuit of his elusive acorn catapults him into outer space where he accidentally sets off a series of cosmic events that threaten Earth. The other lovable characters from the show, Manny, Sid and Diego lead the rest of herd on a quest that is full of thrills and spills, along the way providing lots of laughter. Like the movie tagline suggests, it’s “one small step and one giant mess”!

Apart from the special premiere screening of the movie on 5 July, visitirs can join the line-up of events at the resort, from an educational interactive game and social media contest to meet-and-greet sessions with the popular characters from the show.

Discover Selangor Flotilla Magic of The Night 2016: A Unique Retro Style Flotilla Presenting “The Heart Of Malaysia”

The unique design of Tourism Selangor Flotilla has been inspired by the Retro style approach. Selangor rich in history, culture as well as Legends. Leading the Selangor flotilla, during the Magic Of The Night 2016 event, is our very own legend in Malaysian Football, SUPER MOKH in his most famous pose! Played for Selangor from 1972 till 1990 and played for national team from 1972 until 1985! Drums used for moral support as well as cheering after a victorious win. Behind the drums are Centong Buluh, a bamboo stamping tube that the famous Mah Meri tribe of Pulau Carey used during their many interesting celebrations and festivals. Flying proudly is the leaf origami bird by the Mah Meri tribe, renowned for their masterful leaf origami as well as wood carving. Thanks to the conservation and preservation, their population are increasing and they still practice the culture which is their belief towards their ancestors and spirit. Masks displayed are the Spirit of Kelolong and Mayang Lembu. These are produced by the Mah Meri tribe and these masks are as well sought for future generations.  Bunga Tanjung also known as Spanish Cherry is the official flower of Selangor, the petals represents diversity and regional destinations and the red and yellow petals symbolise the official flag of Selangor. Relics of the past, the lighthouse, the oldest palace in Selangor, Palace Jugra and the Tok Bedil’s canons still stand proudly at Bukit Melawati, Kuala Selangor.

These beautiful sights of Selangor are indeed worth to behold. Feeling rather nostalgic and wants some homey dishes that will remind you of your grandma’s cooking?
